This includes nurses, healthcare assistants and Professionals allied to medicine. With the increasing number of people diagnosed with diabetes more members of the healthcare team are involved in diabetes management than ever before and need to have an appreciation of the implication of this diagnosis.

This interactive day will start off at grass roots level ensuring that participants will go away with an understanding of what diabetes is, how it is diagnosed and the basic principles of management in line with current national guidance.
